WinTOTAL Aurora – March 10, 2006 Update
Forms/Data Entry
-
When using the UCIAR Small Property Report [1990], comps included as
additional comparables are now numbered correctly.
-
Previously, if you used adjustment factors in the Auto Adjuster in comps
side-by-side mode, then changed PowerViews and came back, the actual dollar
adjustments remained correct but the factors used to calculate them were
cleared out. These are now saved and remain intact.
-
Forms management dialogs have been improved, with better descriptions and
corrective advice if any unusual conditions are encountered.
-
ClickFORMS reports with AreaSketch sketches now convert correctly into
WinTOTAL format.
-
ClickFORMS reports with flood maps containing labels and census data now
convert correctly into WinTOTAL.
-
ClickFORMS reports containing the new Fannie Mae forms now can be used in
WinTOTAL.
Sketching
-
Closing Apex after sketching no longer transfers a blank sketch into WinTOTAL.
(Some customers who had this were getting around it by clicking Edit to launch
Apex and then clicking Import to pull in the sketch.)
-
“Integration handle” errors when transferring sketches back into the report
have been fixed.
- An
exception error no longer occurs when the screen resolution is changed while
Apex is open, or any 3D screen savers are active.
-
Printing to Adobe® Acrobat® Professional 7.0 works properly.
-
Addressed bugs in swapping the POB when the sketch includes a curve.
-
Addressed issues involving feet and metric sketch conversions.
-
The grid will now print when it's enabled.
-
New forms were added for A4 paper size.
- A
View Photos button was added to the sidebar. Previously this option was only
available as a menu option (View/Photos).
- A
"Default Unit of Measure" option was added to the System tab in the
Configuration dialog with options for Imperial and Metric.
-
When the Text Entry dialog is open, the calculations (F6 dialog) can also be
viewed.
-
Apex has been updated to version 3.2
QuickPix
-
Corrects an issue where some customers received a LEAD error when previewing
images under particular conditions.
Files PowerView
-
The Tracking PowerView has been merged with the Files PowerView.
-
The Tracking folders from the Tracking PowerView are now available in the
Files PowerView. (Custom Tracking Folders will be added soon, allowing you to
create a folder whose contents are based on searching any of the columns in
the files grid.)
-
There’s a new Tracking folder named “Recently Modified” that shows all files
modified in the last 30 days. That time will be configurable in the future.
This folder is useful to find recently touched reports without having to
search by folder, and where the name may have been forgotten.
-
Single clicking a file shows an expanded view of the report (similar to the
Comps Database), with the photo thumbnail and additional icons and details.
Those include the ability to set status, search by proximity, deliver the
report, upload it to the Vault, create file labels, and much more, all from a
single view. This saves space in the toolbar on smaller screens, and makes
report-specific features more obvious and convenient.
-
Single clicking also collapses the report. This new “auto expand” tools is
configurable, and can be turned on and off under the Tools menu.
-
There is now a “Get Updates” button on the toolbar.
-
“View Update History” is now under the Help menu on the toolbar.
Orders PowerView
-
The Report Description field in the order form now automatically locks after a
description has been entered, and you've saved the report or jumped to another
PowerView. Some customers believed they had lost whole reports, but discovered
they had inadvertently typed over the description in the order and therefore
didn’t see the report in the Files PowerView grid. (The new “Recently
Modified” tracking folder in the Files PowerView also helps find any reports
to which this may have happened, since the report date would be correct even
if the name had been accidentally typed over. If you think you lost some
reports, try looking there.)
- An
Edit button has been added at the end of the Report Description field so the
description can still be intentionally changed after it’s been locked.
Contacts
-
The Add/Edit screens in both WinTOTAL and the XSite are now identical, making
contact data entry consistent in both products.
-
It’s now easier to assign contacts to companies (such as branches of a
lender).
-
When changing a contact’s company while editing the contact, the branch is now
visible as well.
-
The e-mail address field now supports multiple e-mail addresses separated by a
semi-colon. This was requested by customers wanting to make sure they always
receive files sent to clients, or for clients that have more than one e-mail
address.
Manual status
messaging
-
Full control is now in the hands of the appraiser – nothing goes out “behind
the scenes” without your knowledge. Setting and sending status can now be done
by clicking the Tracking Status button on the toolbar in the Files PowerView,
as well as in the expanded details of a report in the Files PowerView.
-
When choosing “Inspection Scheduled” as the status, an option to include the
time and date is available. That time and date also goes into the order form
and updates your XSites calendar, your Outlook calendar, and your Pocket PC
calendar.
-
When opting to notify the client via your XSite, the client’s e-mail address
is available for you to view or edit, and you can now carbon copy additional
recipients (staff members, other contacts, or on-the-fly addresses not used
anywhere else).
-
The actual status message can be previewed before being sent.
-
Any status type can now be chosen at any point in the reporting process.
