WinTOTAL Aurora (version 5) – June 2, 2006 Update
This update includes improvements throughout WinTOTAL.
Files PowerView
- Synchronizing multiple reports with your XSite works correctly if you have the .NET Framework v2.0 installed.
- The Pocket Sync option under the Folder menu now synchronizes Pocket TOTAL.
- When you right-click the column headers to display the context menu, it will now remain visible.
- If the SQL database service is not running when you attempt to start WinTOTAL, it will be started automatically now instead of returning an error.
- Opening new orders from the Tracking view now correctly opens the file in WinTOTAL.
- Editing column layouts now work correctly in both the Files view and the Tracking view.
- The Tracking view totals now show the correct number in all views.
- Appraised date from a 2075 form will now show in the Files PowerView.
- Attached directories in the Files PowerView will now be retained properly if the network connection is lost or the folder list is rebuilt.
- When searching for nearby files, if you have chosen to exclude the deleted items folder it will be correctly ignored now.
- If you choose to hide column headers, they will no longer be displayed anyway.
- Lender address will now show in the Files PowerView on files upgraded from Athena.
- After synchronizing new orders into WinTOTAL, the Tracking view now updates immediately.
- In some cases, the Appraisal Desktop would not close when creating and merging a new report. This has been corrected.
- Agent name will now show in the Files PowerView on files upgraded from Athena.
- When printing the list of reports in a folder in the Files PowerView, you will no longer get a message "Either BOF or EOF is true."
- You can no longer auto-expand files in an attached directory.
- The "All Files" view is now the only view available in an attached directory.
- The count of completed files in the WinTOTAL only view of tracking is now correct.
- You can no longer add statuses to a RELS order that has not been acknowledged.
- When using the "New" option to start a new file in WinTOTAL, occasionally WinTOTAL would be unable to save the file. This has been corrected.
Formfilling
- When overflowing text to addenda the arrow keys will function correctly.
- Entering data that transfers from the Order Form to the comparable grid via a calculation will now show correctly.
- When you enter data on the Order Form that is transferred to the comparables grid, it is now retained properly if you immediately jump to the comps side-by-side view to edit it before adding a major form.
- When inserting an image of type *.WMF file, it is no longer stretched to fit during the printing process.
- Data is transferred to the Summary of Salient Features form correctly now.
Updated Forms
- Updated Loan Prospector 2070 form.
- The [3 Digital/Small] Comparable Photos [Ltr] form no longer displays what should be a hidden field.
- New USPAP 2006 ID to accommodate the new Scope of Work rule and remove references to the Departure Rule.
- An additional pop-up has been added on the FNMA 1004C to explain how Sq. Ft. should be entered.
Maps PowerView
- The position of icons placed on your map is now retained correctly when you zoom in or zoom out.
- When using the Map Wizard from the Tools menu in WinTOTAL, rental and listing properties are now placed correctly on the map.
- When using the FEMA/Census tool in the Order PowerView, the subject's latitude and longitude is now retained and re-used correctly.
- When editing a map in WinTOTAL, the button on the last step of the wizard now correctly says "Finish", not "Cancel".
Comps PowerView
- When clicking into a field in the side-by-side view, it will no longer automatically highlight all text, preventing you from placing your cursor in the middle of the field.
- When you add new comps to the side-by-side view, you can now map them without having to leave the side-by-side view and coming back.
- When applying formatting for all comparables in the comps side-by-side view, the formatting will now update immediately, instead of the next time you come into the side-by-side view.
- An “Add Comp” button has been added in the comps side-by-side view.
Report Delivery
- The delivery wizard in WinTOTAL now verifies that an e-mail address is in valid format before attempting to deliver it.
- After saving a report in Athena format and delivering to an Athena user, the Athena user will no longer receive a message "This file appears to have been modified after it was signed. The signature will be removed."
Images PowerView
- Automatically applying image optimizer settings now works correctly.
- Filtering by file type in the advanced search of the Images PowerView now works correctly.
- Adding a photo page from the Images PowerView works correctly now.
- When optimizing the last image in the database, the image optimizer will not re-open after you save and close.
- In rare cases, when you double-clicked to edit an image in the Images Database, an error was returned. This has been corrected.
General
- When submitting a support request to tech support, you can now include your WinTOTAL database files.
- The “MobileSketch Registration and Installation” link in the Pocket PowerView of the appraisal desktop now registers MobileSketch correctly.
- Cloning now works if WinTOTAL is installed to a location that includes parentheses.
- If you have WinTOTAL set to open using the “Use Last Position” option in the configuration screen, the toolbar will now display correctly if the screen is not maximized.
- When a due date is entered, the QuickBooks export utility will now verify that it is a valid date before it sends it to QuickBooks.
- The Instant Customer Update wizard will now only look for old un-installed updates from 123 and above, and will install them if needed.
- The Instant Customer Update Wizard now checks to see if there are any previously downloaded but not installed updates, and installs them.
- The Instant Customer Update Wizard now downloads updates automatically on a randomized schedule between 10pm-6am to better balance the load on our update servers.
- In rare cases, if you started a new report and WinTOTAL crashed, the report would not be recoverable. This has been corrected.
- In some cases on a network, it was possible for a file to incorrectly remain in a locked state after it should not have been. This has been corrected.
Tech Support Assistant
- Processor speed is now logged correctly in Support Requests.
- The import/export QuickList function in the Tech Support Assistant now works correctly.
- When attaching files to a Support Request, you can now click a button to attach your WinTOTAL databases.
- Text has been added to clarify the checkbox to "Send important system information..." in the Support Request, and it has been defaulted to unchecked.
