WinTOTAL Aurora (version 5) – July 17, 2006 Update
This update contains improvements throughout WinTOTAL, including an improved Files PowerView.
Files PowerView
- The Bill Paid Date will now display in the Files PowerView for Athena reports in which the date was not filled out in the Requester. This date will also now show on reports that have been marked as paid when the total due is $0.00.
- You can now immediately use the arrow keys to scroll through your reports when closing and then re-opening the Appraisal Desktop.
- Adding an extra space when searching in the Quick Search will now show you your results.
- An incorrect thumbnail can no longer show up for the subject in the Files PowerView via a series of steps.
- Reports converted from Athena to Aurora will now show the Delivered Date in the Files PowerView.
- Two reports will no longer show as highlighted when going through a series of steps in the Files PowerView.
- Two reports will no longer appear in their expanded view through a series of steps.
- Double-clicking on a report in the Files PowerView that does not contain a photo will now open instead of just expanding.
- With auto-expand enabled, double-clicking on an expanded report will no longer collapse before it is opened.
- Mark as Paid no longer closes the expanded view of a report.
- When opening an AppraisalPort order from outside of WinTOTAL, the Files PowerView will no longer open to a blank grid.
- After setting a report to Delayed, it will no longer show up as In Progress.
- The Project HOA column is now correctly populated in the Files PowerView.
- The expanded view will now enlarge to include any new statuses that would typically drop below the size of the preview.
- The splitter bar now holds its position when switching between the various tabs in the Files PowerView.
- Reports can now be moved via drag-n-drop without having to wait for them to expand.
- Focus is no longer lost after auto-expanding the first report listed in a folder.
- When expanding a report that the subject photo thumbnail has to be created, focus is no longer lost and the mouse scroll wheel will continue to work.
- Focus is now kept when going into a folder and clicking on the expand/collapse "+".
- Double-clicking a link in the expanded view of a report will only open that link now instead of opening the report as well.
- Sorting by the XSite column is now functional.
- Double-clicking a report in the Files PowerView that is not highlighted will now open.
- Clicking on the expand/collapse "+" and then using the right-click menu to open a report will now work correctly.
- Cloning now checks for the existence of a file name in all folders when creating a file name to avoid duplicates, which would cause problems for your Vault account.
- With no amount documented in the invoice, marking a report as paid will now work correctly and display "The TOTAL DUE for this report is $0. No payment has been applied."
- With auto-expand turned on, the list no longer waits for a report to load in the forms engine completely before refreshing.
- With auto-expand turned on, pressing the Delete key on the keyboard will now delete the currently highlighted report.
- Reports moved to attached directories will no longer show as locked open.
- After expanding a report via the collapse/expand "+", hovering over the subject photo will now expand.
- Renaming a report in the Files PowerView will now immediately update the File Name column.
- Using the XSite items in the Go To toolbar button will prompt you for your user name and password if you have not associated your XSite with WinTOTAL.
- The subject photo thumbnail is now updated when the image is changed in the report.
- The Edit button is now active on the Order Form tab of the Files PowerView after manually expanding the view of a report.
- Sorting by columns containing numbers, like file size, are now sorting numerically instead of alphabetically.
- Some focus issues have been corrected when setting status for a report in the expanded view.
- Adding new status to an expanded view report can no longer add status to another expanded report.
- Utilizing the Order Form tab of the Files PowerView, the split-screen settings are retained when moving between folders which do not contain any reports.
- After making changes to an order inside the report, changes made to the order will now immediately show in the Order tab of the Files PowerView.
- The Effective Date of Appraisal now populates the Appraisal Date and the As of date found in the reconciliation section now populates the Inspection Date in the Files PowerView. If the Effective Date of Appraisal does not exist or is blank on a report, this column is populated with the As of date. These changes will require you to rebuild your reports list.
- After making changes to the Order Form in the forms engine, these changes will now be immediately shown on the Order tab of the Files PowerView.
- Right-clicking on a column heading no longer highlights the report at the top of the list.
- When going from a Files folder to a tracking folder while on the Order tab, the Order Form will no longer remain visible.
- The Payment Total column is now updated immediately after marking a report as paid.
- The column layout is now saved after editing it and then immediately clicking on the "X" to close the Appraisal Desktop.
- The Files PowerView has been updated to display properly when running a screen resolution of 1920x1200.
- When using the Get Updates bottom from the Files PowerView, it will no longer hang trying to shut down the forms engine.
- When viewing the WorkFile tab in the Files PowerView, clicking on Edit twice will no longer cause an error.
- When marking a report as paid, the Bill Paid Date column is now immediately updated in the Files PowerView.
- Deleting a folder will now put the reports from any sub-folders into the Deleted Items folder.
- The subject photo thumbnail will now display in the expanded view when using the Subject Photos [2 Digital/Large Photos/Lgl].
- Attaching a directory no longer causes an error.
- Renaming a report in the Files PowerView no longer removes the spaces out of the file name.
- Clicking on a column header to sort no longer activates drag-n-drop mode of the columns immediately. There is a 1/4 second delay before enabling this.
- Opening a report while another is in the process of closing no longer causes WinTOTAL to close unexpectedly.
- Deleting a report out of a folder in which only two reports exists no longer causes the remaining report to inadvertently display in the Deleted Items folder.
- The Rename link in the expanded view of a report no longer causes the Appraisal Desktop to close unexpectedly.
- Double-clicking on a tooltip that pops up when the data does not fit in a column, no longer prevents the report from being opened in WinTOTAL.
- When selecting a new order from the Files PowerView, the Order Form will now always be displayed.
- The expanded view of a report will now display properly after updating the status from the Tracking Status view.
- The mouse scroll wheel now works after clicking on a folder.
- You can now open a report after changing to the expanded view and then displaying the Order tab.
- Marking a report as paid with a date prior to today will no longer cause an error.
- After enabling the extended billing information in a report, saving and closing, viewing the Order Form in the Files PowerView will now immediately display those changes.
- When starting WinTOTAL from a shortcut on your desktop, the WorkFile tab in the Files PowerView will no longer show the contents of your desktop.
- Editing two consecutive report WorkFiles via the Files PowerView no longer causes an error.
- The Order tab is now displayed properly after editing, canceling, going to the Contacts PowerView and then back to the Order tab.
- Tooltip pop-ups will no longer prevent you from selecting multiple reports in the Files PowerView.
- When auto-expand is off and more than one report is expanded, hovering over an image will no longer show the last expanded report's thumbnail.
- When attaching a directory to a network drive, the reports list no longer rebuilds twice.
- With auto-expand off, expanding several reports then collapsing all will no longer cause the Appraisal Desktop to exit unexpectedly.
- With auto-expand on, multiple reports will no longer be expanded when highlighting multiple reports with CTRL+click or SHIFT+click.
- After manually expanding a report, it can now immediately be moved with drag-n-drop.
- The various tabs in the Files PowerView no longer show blank when closing/reopening them.
- Clicking on the subject photo before it enlarges no longer causes the Appraisal Desktop to freeze up.
- When clicking on tracking status immediately after highlighting a report, the status window no longer shows the data from the previously selected report.
- With multiple reports expanded, marking one as paid and canceling no longer collapses all reports.
- The merge screen no longer has display issues if only one column exists in the Files PowerView.
- After searching for nearby reports and opening one, the Order tab is now functional.
- When viewing the E&O and History Tabs in the Files PowerView, the mouse scroll wheel now scrolls the report list.
- When opening a second report from the Appraisal Desktop, the Files PowerView now refreshes properly without having to switch to another application and back.
- When canceling the override message while working on the WorkFile tab of the Files PowerView, you no longer get an error.
- With auto-expand on, clicking on expanded reports and then clicking on another report will now collapse the previous one.
- After opening the Appraisal Desktop and clicking on a report with auto-expand turned on, you can now use the arrow keys on the keyboard to navigate to another report.
- The "No Photo" message is no longer visible behind photos with a white background.
- There is no longer a minimum width when resizing columns.
- When searching in the Files PowerView, the search results will now remain visible after marking a report as paid.
- Copying a report to another folder will now give it a new file name, for Vault purposes.
- Editing an order from the Files PowerView will now place the order in the net.X Connect queue.
- By default, expanding a report in the Files PowerView now has an animated look to it. This can be changed in the Configuration Utility under the General | File Cabinet section.
Contacts Management
- The Appraiser Company Name and Address now transfer from the order form to forms that contain these fields.
- When a sub-contact does not have a custom street address, the contact summary now shows the company address.
- All fields are now accessible via the keyboard when adding a new contact.
- The selected contact is now displayed in bold, to be consistent with the appearance of your XSite.
- The alternate phone in a contact will no longer incorrectly populate with the phone number extension on the order form.
- Changing a client/lender contact to an appraiser will now show the license/certification options.
- Adding alternate phone to a contact inside an order will now update the contact in WinTOTAL and on your XSite.
- An error no longer occurs the first time you open a report invoice without client information and change it.
- You can now add contacts in WinTOTAL without having a company contact listed in your database.
Image Optimizer
- When optimizing an image, the Equalize Brightness option has been changed to work like it did in Athena.
Report Delivery Wizard
- You can now type in more than one email address into the CC field when delivering a report via "PDF using Outlook or regular email".
- We've removed the "XML Export" option which was found in the "Using any XSite Order Manager Plugin" of the Deliver Report menu.
- There will no longer be an error when delivering a BCE or RealEC order that was created on the desktop .
- When delivering a report via the Files PowerView and saving a copy of the PDF to the WorkFile, the WorkFile tab will now immediately show the PDF without refreshing.
- Reports can now be delivered through SureReceipts that contain only an invoice.
- Font codes are no longer contained within the data of a report when delivering it via Lighthouse .
- There is no longer an error when delivering a report via Outlook or XSite Delivery when the last page is a Supplemental Addendum with signature block.
- The Photograph Addendum [6 Digital/Small Photos/Lgl] is now supported by the AppraisalPort delivery method.
- When delivering with SureReceipts, the Save PDF to WorkFile option is now functional.
- Attempting to deliver a report via XSite without configuring your XSite no longer causes the Appraisal Desktop to freeze up.
Digital WorkFile
- When printing a WMF from the Digital WorkFile, the view no longer changes back to the form above the WMF in the list.
Comps Database
- The search feature in Old Reports now functions properly.
- Removing the age column from the column layout no longer prevents comps from being displayed.
- Scrolling down with the arrow keys while a comp is highlighted no longer causes the Comps PowerView to freeze up.
- Multi-selecting in the Comps Database using the shift-click method with a comp expanded no longer causes WinTOTAL to exit unexpectedly.
- Scrolling to the last row in the Comps Database no longer causes the program to exit unexpectedly.
- The Comps Database no longer shows the headers grayed out.
- When importing comps from MLS, the wizard no longer disappears when it comes to the "Select your format" screen.
- When selecting the format of a file to import comps from, highlighting a comp in the grid no longer causes the grid to refresh.
Forms PowerView
- When attempting to type in a signed report and prompted to remove the signature, choosing to do so will put the cursor back into the current field instead of at the top of the form, possibly overwriting the data in that field.
- There were rare instances where a global recalc was required to force the net/gross adjustments to update. This problem has been corrected.
- When formatting a range of fields, specifically formatting numbers with commas, the fields will no longer remove the last digit.
- Changing the field formats on the Site field no longer causes the Sales or Financing, View, and Date of Sale/Time to blank out.
- Changing the formatting of an adjustment immediately after entering the adjustment will now get applied to the net adjustment.
- Using negative $/SF in the Cost Approach is now correctly subtracting from the value.
- WinTOTAL uses hidden fields and calculations to combine things such as addresses that utilize two lines . When a hidden field's text overflows the available space, the overflow rules are no longer used.
- Merging comp photo pages no longer puts # signs in the title.
- Changing the font for default data no longer changes the font of fields that are purposely formatted to look like form text, like the fillable labels at the bottom of the sales comparison grid of the URAR.
- When typing in a field, saving or auto-saving will put the cursor back at the beginning of the field.
- When unchecking a check box, fields are getting skipped as if the box had been checked.
Images PowerView
- After retrieving new photos and choosing not to view them, you will no longer be prompted to view them each time you go back to the Images PowerView.
- Changing photo pages with the right-click menu visible will no longer cause an error.
- When editing a form in the Images PowerView, the Add button will no longer cause an error.
net.X Connect
- Syncing with your XSite immediately after associating WinTOTAL with it will no longer cause an error.
- net.X Connect is only loaded upon closing WinTOTAL if an XSite is associated with WinTOTAL.
- When opening WinTOTAL, if you cancel instead of choosing a user, net.X Connect no longer opens.
- When setting a status and putting it in the queue, there is now a message stating that the status update will be reflected the next time you run net.X Connect. This should help avoid confusion when status changes aren't seen immediately in the Files PowerView.
- Re-syncing failed orders will no longer re-sync successful reports in the queue as well.
General
- Through a series of steps with FEMA/Census data automatically set to download, the address in the report could revert back to the address from merged data. This issue has been corrected.
- When saving the PDF to WorkFile while printing, it is no longer required to add the ".pdf" to the file name if it is manually changed in the Save dialog box.
- For users with more than one XSite, the Property Presentation Wizard will no longer give a 404 Page Not Found error when previewing the property.
- When configuring WinTOTAL settings from within the forms engine, saving changes no longer places focus back on the Appraisal Desktop before going back to the forms engine.
- Canadian users who open reports containing the Scope of the Appraisal [201 Departure] will no longer receive an error.
- When merging in data from a template, default data in a form will no longer override custom data.
- The tool used to upgrade Athena report to Aurora when they are opened has been updated to correct some errors that were occurring on specific reports.
- When merging, the far right column no longer overlaps the edge of the window.
- When selecting a report to merge from, the File No. column is now highlighted with the rest of the row.
- When merging, the File No. column now shows the sorting arrow when sorting by that column.
- When merging, sorting by numerical columns now sort numerically instead of alphabetically.
- The Apex integration has been updated to better handle timeout errors that may occur when opening Apex.
- The signed date column in the Files PowerView will now show the signed date from the appraisal report, NOT the system date when the signature was applied. This change will not affect existing reports.
- When merging an invoice from another report in which it is not included in the TOC, the new invoice will no longer be included in the TOC either.
- The accuracy of Canadian addresses geocoding has been vastly improved.
- The columns in the Update History section of the Appraisal Desktop help are no longer sortable. This was causing the wrong documentation to be displayed.
Appraisal Desktop
- Double-clicking on the Contacts PowerView no longer causes the Appraisal Desktop to close unexpectedly.
- Closing the Appraisal Desktop before it loads completely no longer causes an error.
- The Client Fees in the Fee Setup now show the Last Updated date/time.
- The date/time stamp shown in the Appraiser fee tables is no longer displayed in GMT.
- When Appraisal Desktop is configured to close upon opening a report, it will no longer flash on screen before closing.
