WinTOTAL Aurora (v5) – January 3, 2007 Update
This update contains improvements to the Contacts PowerView and resolves many issues throughout WinTOTAL.

Comps Side-by-side

• The CTRL + arrow key shortcut now defaults to moving to the next field.  This matches the default setting on the Forms PowerView.

Contacts 

• An All view has been added to view all of your companies and contacts in one place.  Also, in this view you can group contacts by name, company, or contact information.
• Searching for e-mail addresses and phone numbers has been improved and is more reliable.
• Clicking the plus sign to expand a company contact and quickly clicking again to close it will no longer cause the Contact Details window to open.
• Double-clicking the column heading for phone numbers now properly sizes that column.
• Entering an invalid phone number will no longer prevent you from being able to cancel changes and close the Contact Detail window.
• The cursor is now placed in the e-mail field if an invalid e-mail address is detected when saving a contact.
• The setting to specify whether the company address or contact address is shown in reports is now preserved when syncing contacts with your XSite.
• The sort setting for companies is now preserved.
• The state field now only allows two characters to be entered.  This prevents errors saving and syncing with an XSite.
• When creating a new contact and associating it to a company, if the option to use the company address is selected the company's address is now shown instead of the contact's.
• When using the letters to filter your contacts the first contact is now selected and highlighted.
• When creating contacts associated to companies, the fields at the bottom of the Contact Details window are no longer cut off.
• When resizing the Contacts PowerView if all of the buttons on the toolbar cannot be displayed an arrow with, a drop-down is now shown to access the hidden buttons.

E&O 

• An issue has been fixed which could cause an incorrect warning stating net adjustments are incorrect to be shown when the correct numbers are on the form.

General

• A rare scenario that could prevent new QuickLists from being saved correctly after swapping major forms has been fixed.
• An issue has been fixed which could cause certain older WinTOTAL reports from Athena and Olympus to not open correctly in Aurora.
• The proper PowerView is now displayed at the bottom of WinTOTAL immediately after opening a report.
• The current state for the printing option "Optimize sketch printing for HP DeskJet’s." is now shown when opening printer setup.  Previously, this setting always showed disabled in the setup screen.

Image Optimizer

• Checking and then immediately unchecking the equalize brightness setting no longer causes previous optimizations to be lost.
• If you make changes to image size or colors, and then select "Keep current size" and "No Change" the current size will show the correct size and match the original size.
• Changes made to the image detail setting are now immediately shown the preview. 
• When opening compressed images, the correct file size is shown as the original image size.

Order PowerView

• Certain auto-number sequences could get reset incorrectly when passing a certain threshold.  This will no longer occur.
• The parenthesis and hyphens are now shown correctly on the order form for contacts that have been synced with an XSite.
• The Recent Response comments for the Report Description field are now available immediately after starting a new report.
• An issue has been resolved which could cause the Title and Suffix drop-down lists to be blank when adding contacts from the order form.
• Searching for contacts by first or last name will now return the correct entries.
• When searching for contacts in the order form, only contacts that are the same type as the field you are in are shown.

Sketch PowerView

• When returning from a sketch program, WinTOTAL is given focus so you don't have to click on it to resume work.

Vendor Integration Platform

• This update includes an updated VIP API allowing for dynamic updates, rather than having to be dependant on the regular update schedule.

WinTOTAL Configuration Utility

• Changes made to the default data font are now properly applied to new addenda.
