As we test and refine future updates we often ask customers to install a pre-release update, or “alpha” update when we know they’ve reported specific issues the update addresses. Also, it’s helpful to us when as many customers as possible use the alpha update before it enters “beta” testing and is ultimately released live. That gives us a better picture as to its effectiveness, and helps us fine tune the update while it’s in the hands of our beta testers.
The are not currently any pre-release files available for download.
Tell me more about Beta testing
Speaking of beta testers, we get asked quite a bit about what’s involved and if we’re looking for beta testers. Right now we are looking for more beta testers, but it’s important to know what’s involved.
Our beta testers are real appraisers who use our pre-release version of the software, and nothing else, in their daily work. They sacrifice their time and energy to helping us make the best products possible. They test our pre-release versions and tell us what works, what doesn’t, what problems they encounter, and what improvements they see. As “guinea pigs”, sometimes they’re in for a bumpy ride. So what makes them do it, and why might you be interested? Because you’re on the front lines in providing feedback about a product tens of thousands of appraisers use to run their business. You have a hand in its design and direction, plus you get to see all the cool new stuff months before anyone else does.
Being a beta tester isn’t for everyone, but if you’re interested, send an e-mail to and let us know.
