Frequently Asked Questions
When and where is the convention?
This year's event is being held on June 5th through the 7th at Disney's Contemporary Resort, which is located across the street from Disney's Magic Kingdom. Further details can be found at the .
What is the Convention Schedule?
We're still finalizing the schedule, but rest assured we plan to offer a wide variety of courses covering our entire spectrum of software with specialized courses such as: Comps Management, Formfilling Essentials, Automated Marketing, and many more.
Do I need to pre-register for the classes?
Each convention attendee is entitled to one Hands On Training (HOT) course. These courses are 90 minutes long and offered all three days. You'll have a state-of-the-art PC to use to follow along with the instructor. We strongly suggest pre-registering for your Hands On course as these classes fill up quickly. Click to register for your HOT class. All of the other classes will be offered multiple times throughout the convention and will be first-come, first-seated and do not need to be registered for.
Who should I contact for hotel reservations?
Please contact Disney's Contemporary Resort directly at (407) 824-3869 - for hotel reservations. Be sure to ask for the a la mode convention rate. Make your reservations early since we have a limited number of discounted rooms available. The special room rate expires on May 4th.
What do I need to bring to the classes?
Just you and an open mind. We'll provide the rest. When you check in, your welcome kit will include your registration badge, course manuals, a pen, and other various items. Make sure you wear your badge at all times, as nobody without a badge will be allowed into any of the classrooms.
Can I bring my laptop?
Our courses are designed so that a laptop is not needed. All of the information will be presented clearly in the given outlines. However, if you choose to bring your laptop, keep in mind that space and power outlets will be limited. Make sure your battery is fully charged each day.
Will I get Continuing Education for the classes?
No. These courses are designed to maximize your knowledge of the industry tools you use everyday. We don't write our course material based on what each state's appraisal board requires. If you simply want to sit through another boring course to gain a few hours of CE credit, these courses probably aren't for you. They'll be engaging, entertaining, and most importantly, relevant to your needs.
Who will be there from your office? Can I meet my favorite tech and sales person?
There's a great chance you will! We'll have a large number of our staff available at this convention. There's a chance you'll be able to put a face with the voice.
