Re: Aurora: March 29th update is ready
Today’s WinTOTAL Aurora update is now available on our servers. To download it, click the “Get Updates” button on the toolbar in your Appraisal Desktop.
I’m very pleased to announce that this update contains the new GP Land appraisal form in both letter and legal sizes. You’ll find it to be a superb form, and it contains some very nice configurable options that allow you to choose your unit type (i.e. Sq. Ft. vs Acres) and your comparable adjustment methods for greatly enhanced flexibility over other land forms. The form labels also adapt dynamically to reflect your configured choices.
Also, the GP Residential form is now available in letter size, and we’ve incorporated your feedback since it was initially released. You can find the GP Series of forms in the “a la mode General Purpose forms” folder in your Contents.
In addition to the forms, there are dozens of other improvements, and I’d like to point out several that are especially noteworthy:
- When printing, we’ve added a new option to display the total page count for the forms in your report. Once enabled, this will display page numbering as “Page X of XX”.
- In the Contents view in WinTOTAL, you can now enable the Table of Contents (TOC) column. This lets you select which pages should be listed and numbered. We’ve also made it easier to add, remove, and re-arrange pages in your report, as well as preview and print a blank form from the Contents view.
- Apex Medina sketching software now integrates via our Vendor Integration Platform (VIP). Visit the Market PowerView in your Appraisal Desktop to find out more.
As always, you can visit the Aurora Status website at any time to find out the latest status on things like Desktop Billing, new GP forms we’re working on, what’s coming in the next update, and other projects. To visit it now, click here.
That’s it for today. Thank you for your time and your business. Please let me know if you have any questions.

In addition, the GP Residential is now available in letter size, and has been revised with additional feedback received after we initially released it. You can find the GP Series forms in the “a la mode General Purpose forms” folder in your contents view in WinTOTAL.
