Re:        Aurora: October 16th update is ready

The update scheduled for today is now available on our servers.  To download it, simply click the “Get Updates” button on the toolbar in your Appraisal Desktop.

Today’s update has improvements to several areas of Aurora, but most notable are the improvements to QuickLists.  You should notice that after installing this update, saving and entering QuickLists in multiple fields and when editing the Addenda works much more smoothly.  Be sure and let us know what you think.  Also, thanks to your suggestions, we’ve added the ability to override field formatting with the F6 key in the Comps Side-by-Side view. 

Lastly, the Public Beta version of the billing module is almost ready.  In fact, you’ll be able to download the alpha version on October 27^th.  If you’ve been waiting for the new billing features, this alpha update could be important for you to get because it reads all of your existing report data.  Simply visit the Aurora status website to download it and get a lot of other information about our Aurora projects.  Just keep in mind that the alpha updates are very, very early versions of the new features.  We’ll release the public Beta after the alpha, but until then working with the alpha is a great way to let us know what you think and shape the way the billing module will end up working.
