Your feedback brings updates to DaVinci for Android™

Dale Spoonemore, Product Manager

The response to DaVinci for Android™ has been awesome. In just two weeks we've already seen over 1,700 downloads from the Android Market. We've also received a ton of great feedback to our labs e-mail and have put your ideas to work by incorporating them into our first two updates that are now available in the Market.

I think you'll really like our latest update (1.1) as it includes our new Maps & Directions feature. Just pull up the Menu in DaVinci for Android and select Maps & Directions to begin. You'll see a list of all the addresses in your report, including the subject property and each comparable. From there, you can select which address you wish to go to and Google Maps will give you directions from your current location. Or, you can select the Map tab to see all of the properties in your report clearly marked on a map. You can also get directions to a property from the map by tapping on the property and tapping again for directions. Check out the screenshots below, you're going to seriously love this.

In order to help keep file sizes and data usage down, we've added photo optimization settings in preferences so you can determine the size and quality of your photos. Also, you can now choose which reports will be uploaded when syncing in the Pairing and Synchronization screen. Our first update added the ability to change orientation from portrait to landscape, which is especially appreciated by those with slide-out keyboards (you can also lock the orientation to portrait if you'd like via a new option in preferences). You can read about all of the changes on our updates page by clicking here.

Again, your feedback has made all of this possible so thank you and keep them coming. We're hard at work implementing even more features. Stay tuned.
