New Features in WinTOTAL Armstrong

Armstrong retains all the basic formfilling features held by previous versions of WinTOTAL, but these exciting new features mean that Armstrong is the fastest, simplest, friendliest version of WinTOTAL yet.

Formfilling

1. Sideways scrolling in a reading style as pages scroll from right to left.
2. Collapse any page without collapsing the entire form.
3. Re-arrange pages right from the Form view as all pages are collapsed.
4. Easily break apart multi-page forms into their individual pages so you can insert other pages in between. (Ever wanted to put additional comp pages right after page 2 of the 1004?)
5. New contents view makes it easier to see when a form was revised and what size it is.
6. Context sensitive tools make tasks like adding photos simple and easy with a new "in-line" process.
7. True WYSIWIG settings now let you display summary phrases, extra page numbers, and report file numbers right on screen prior to printing.

Printing

1. Built in PDF creating ability means no extra programs to install. PDFs are created natively by WinTOTAL.
2. Create and save Printer Profiles so you can choose which printers to use without having to edit your configuration settings each time.

No Databases

1. No underlying databases — no Photos, Comps, or Files databases.
2. Contacts, QuickLists and Recent Response drop downs are stored in XML files, not databases cutting down on load times and complexity.
3. Simple file manager (like DaVinci Mobile Pro's) will be included, and will display basic report information, but still not use an actual database.

Photos

1. New in-line photo process makes it easier than ever to quickly add photos to any empty slot in your report. Just click an empty photo slot, then pick browse, paste, or scan!
2. Most common photo manipulate now happens directly in the page, without having to launch a seperate image optimizer. Crop, rotate, and adjust lighting with a sinlge click of your mouse.

Addenda

1. See your addenda in its own window, allowing you to write comments and see your major form at the same time.
2. SureDocs Addenda automatically added when you sign — if you choose.
3. More word processor functions that previous versions of WinTOTAL.

E&O

1. See the E&O details in its own window.
2. Selectively hide rules that you don't feel apply.
3. Choose to include extra rule sets from 3rd party delivery plugins such as RELS, AppraisalPort, Southwest Financial, and more.
4. New E&O structure will allow WinTOTAL to run review scripts on selected minor forms.

Starting a report

1. Just click New, and use the JumpStart dialog to quickly and easily enter your report's assignment, contact and billing information.
2. Or if you prefer, switch to the "QuickClone" tab and get a true copy of another file to start.
3. SmartMerge from previous reports to get all or part of an old file, and selectively let WinTOTAL remove outdated images while retaining placeholder pages (From subject photo pages, map pages, etc...).
4. The Info button returns!  At any time in a report, click the Info button on the toolbar to edit the report's assignment, contact or billing information.
5. Save frequent city/state/zip combinations for easy re-use later.

QuickLists

1. Dock your QuickList pane on either the right or left side of your screen.
2. Undock and drag your QuickList pane onto your second monitor.
3. A default "a la mode Standard" QuickList means new users can save tons of time entering data right out of the box.

Security

1. New SureDocs signing process allows you to do a true identity verificaiton and securely sign and serialize reports at time of signing. New verification site allows any reader of the report to verify if the report has been altered since it was created.
2. Must now log in to WinTOTAL with a username and password to increase security.

Sketching

1. Seamless integration with DaVinci desktop standard for easy sketching.
2. No VIP sketch integration in Standard (VIP will be in Enterprise).

User Interface

1. Un-dock extra views like QuickLists, your addenda, and the E&O results into their own window, for better flexibility and better screen real estate usage.
2. Only two PowerViews.
3. Simplified interface is customizeable for each user. Many views can be opened in their own window, allowing users with more monitor space (or multiple monitors) to work more efficiently.
