All of a la mode's tools rely heavily on our revolutionary net.X technology platform, short for "net extension". In a nutshell, net.X allows us to seamlessly connect our programs to essential Internet data sources, servers, and receivers worldwide, extending the network right to your desktop. A good example of net.X technology is our ability to store your Vault files on our redundant servers. The Vault connects to servers in Oklahoma City and Salt Lake City, determines when your file was modified and replaces the old with the new. It also allows you to download your files from anywhere in the world, at any time. All this happens in the blink of an eye without the user having to lift a finger. Other than the mouse click that is. Net.X even has redundancy technology that can overcome problems going on across the internet that would keep file uploading, browsing and other activities from taking place. The same net.X technology brings street maps, Census data, EDI, and more to all a la mode applications. It's the backbone of our desktop-to-net strategy.
