Process a payment using your mobile device
1. Using XSites Mobile and your Internet enabled mobile device you can check status to see if there's a credit card waiting to be charged, actually process the transaction, and search your transaction history quickly and easily.
All you need to do is use the web browser on your mobile device to log into your XSite's URL followed by "/mobile" (i.e. www.smithappraisal.com/mobile).
You'll use your current username and password or PIN to log in. Tap the Payments icon on the main screen and your next view will show the screen displayed below. Tap "Enter a miscellaneous payment" to continue.
Check out this video for more info:

2. Once you see the Credit Card Sale screen you simply enter the client's contact information, which is automatically added to your contacts database. Then just type in the transaction amount and the credit card information. Plus if you want to add any notes to the record, you can enter those in the Reference field. Tap Next.
Note: If your transaction involves a client already in your contacts database, you can tap the Search link next to the First Name field.

3. You'll have a final opportunity to verify that all the information is correct before sending it through the system for approval. If it isn't, simply tap Change and you'll be taken back to the previous screen to make changes. However, if you're satisfied with the verification information, just tap Submit to process the payment.

4. If the transaction goes through successfully, a final screen detailing the transaction results is displayed. You'll see a date and time stamp of the transaction, the invoice number, transaction type, and authorization code. (This information is also displayed in your Transaction History view and may come in handy later if you need to do a search.) Plus XSites Mobile immediately sends your client an e-mail of the transaction.
(Different templates are available for invoices by selecting Invoice in the Billing menu of the Recent Transactions view.)
