Unlimited, customizable area types
You can define as many area types as you want, and customize the look of each. It's no problem to set up the fill color, pattern, or line style. And there's no limit on the number and type of areas you can create.

Easily draw angles, curves and polygons
The keystrokes you're used to using to draw curves, angles and muli-wall polygons all work in DaVinci. It's simple to draw complex floorplans with many corners and angles.

Simplified Editing
DaVinci’s editing tools are superb. It's a cinch to copy and clone an existing area, or even part of an area. You can re-open walls, add a bay window, and then re-close - all in a couple of clicks. And “Undo” literally takes you back through every action you’ve taken, unlike other sketchers.

Draw multiple areas at once
Or, you can combine existing, disparate walls into an area. You're no longer forced to start at a beginning point and "go around the horn" to end where you began. Sure, you can do that if you want, but, if mid-way you want to go back to the beginning point and draw the other direction, feel free. You can even start a second area while still drawing a first.

"Artificial Intelligence" makes sketching faster 

DaVinci comes built-in intelligence that makes it easier to draw your sketches. There's logic built in that pre-determines what type of area you're sketching while you sketch. For example, DaVinci knows the difference between a "First Floor" and a "Patio" based solely on how you draw it.

We know you usually measure the entire perimeter of the building from the exterior first, then move inside to figure out where the GLA ends and the garage starts. Because of that, we made it easy to "cut out" a garage from an existing GLA area and mark it as non-livable space by simply drawing the wall between the two areas. DaVinci takes care of the rest by creating a new garage area, subtracting the square footage from the GLA and adjusting accurately. The same works for porches, stairwells, and "open to below". It couldn't be easier.

Re-use your legacy Apex sketches
