If someone clicks
on the opt-out button in one of my emails, will their email
address remain in my contacts manager? |
|
Yes, the contact information
remains. XSellerate remembers that the contact has opted out of
future marketing e-mails and will not send to them. |
 |
If someone opts out, will I be able to tell? |
|
Yes, you can see the contact's marketing status in Contacts under Contact Information. If a user has opted out of an email, this message will appear: "This contact has unsubscribed from all marketing e-mails." |
 |
Do I need to buy
a special copy of Adobe® Acrobat®? |
|
To read, edit and print
online, you should have Adobe® Reader® 5.0 or higher, which
is free. To save the changes that you've made online,
you'll need Adobe® Standard or Professional version 6.0 or higher. Standard
and Professional also give you more editing capabilities, but we've designed the
ad text so that you can use
the basic editing tools in Adobe® Reader® 5.0 or higher. The free
Adobe Reader (you can download it from www.Adobe.com)
will work and most PCs already come loaded
with Adobe Reader. |
 |
Does XSellerate
automatically save my pages as I go through the steps of creating a
campaign? |
|
Yes. If you need to leave the campaign editor for any
reason, the changes you've made so far will be saved and will be
available when you come back into the editor. Save options
also exist throughout your campaign Wizard, and we recommend
that you use them. |
 |
What is the
difference between a drip campaign and a one-time campaign? |
|
The drip campaign feature allows you to set up XSellerate to automatically send
ads at intervals that you specify.
A one-time campaign is just that, it allows you to send the ad
once. |
 |
I created an ad
for one group of contacts and I want to create a similar ad for
a different group of contacts, but customize it for that group.
How do I do this without having to completely rewrite the ad? |
|
The Clone
feature makes this very easy. Just click the Clone button to the
right of your campaign and make the changes you wish to make.
This feature is a great time saving device if you just want to
change a contact group or text in your email campaign for a
different spin on the ad. |
 |
How can I tell if
a campaign has been sent to my contacts? |
|
You can click on the
History link to the right of the campaign in your Online Campaigns page. |
 |
Why isn't my drip
campaign sending? |
|
For the drip campaigns,
we've included a feature that allows you to enable the drip only
when you are finished editing your campaign. If you have
not checked the "enable drip" checkbox in the first screen of
the campaign editor, your campaign will not be sent. All
drip campaigns default to the checked box. |
 |
If I add a
contact to a group after I've created a campaign for that group,
will that new contact receive the ads in that campaign? |
|
Absolutely. In fact,
they'll even receive all the ads starting from the beginning of
the campaign even if the date for that particular ad has already
passed. |
 |
I've created my
own ad in Microsoft Word, can I add this to my library of print
ads in
XSellerate? |
|
Yes.
We've designed XSellerate to be your central repository for
print campaigns. You can upload files you've created in Microsoft Publisher,
Adobe
Acrobat, Microsoft PowerPoint, and much more. Basically,
any file you have on your computer can be uploaded to your
library. |
 |
Can I send e-mail or
print campaigns in a second language? |
|
Yes. Our pre-built campaigns have been translated "by hand" into Spanish. |
 |
If I delete an ad or
campaign, is there a default restore? |
|
Campaigns
can be re-created at any time, they key off of the library of
ads
under Edit Online ads. However, under the Edit Online ads
option, if you delete one of those ads, a la mode has to restore
them for you. If you accidentally delete one of your
custom ads from that same section, you have just entered the oh
shit zone! Please make sure that you want to delete
unwanted ads. We are looking at a default restore option
for future versions. |
 |
Who's actually sending my
e-mails? |
|
You are.
XSellerate will send via your own email address. |
 |
Can I set message
reminders? |
|
XSellerate
comes with an online scheduler which you can use to make
appointments and send e-mail reminders. You have access to
it from anywhere you have access to the internet, including your
internet-enabled mobile devices. |
 |
Can I use my own
design elements such as my company logo in an ad? |
|
Yes, the
ads come with pre-built content to get you going quickly, but
are 100% customizable. You can even create your own ad
from scratch. |
 |
If I edit
an XSellerate
ad, is it added to my library of pre-built ads? |
|
As long as
you save it with a different Subject name it will be added to
your list of pre-built ads. However, if you edit an ad
without making a clone or without re-naming the file,
XSellerate's ad has become yours and will remain your custom
file. |
