Transition Assistant

TOTAL 2011’s Athena Transition Assistant is designed to help you smoothly move your software and user settings from Athena into TOTAL 2011, saving you time by helping you get your software configured before you even start using it.  Additionally, it helps you shuttle files you’ve started in Athena over to TOTAL 2011 so you can quickly finish and deliver UAD-compliant reports.  Here’s a short list of things transferred:

  • Existing Athena users
  • QuickLists text databases
  • Signatures
  • Contacts
  • Software configuration settings

Start your report in Athena, make it UAD-compliant in TOTAL.  Seamlessly.

The Transition Assistant “builds a bridge” between Athena and TOTAL 2011, helping you begin files in Athena, and then moving them to TOTAL for the UAD forms and features.  To see how it works, watch the video above.  To read step-by-step instructions, click here.

It's also important to note, after running the Athena Transition Assistant you'll want to make sure to enter your license information in TOTAL's contact manager using the instructions below. For more information on TOTAL 2011's contact manager, click here.

  1. Launch TOTAL 2011, and from the file manager, click the Contacts Powerview.
  2. Double click your contact to make edits.
  3. Click the User & License Settings tab.
  4. Select your license, and click Edit.
  5. From there, simply edit your license information, make any adjustments to your signature (or seal), and click OK.

To help ease your transition from Athena to TOTAL, we’ve created a special Athena Users Hotline at 866-300-1544. Also, we’ve included some links on the right to documents that others upgrading from Athena have found useful.
