As a business tool, you should expect your website to save you and your clients time and money.  That purpose can't be fulfilled if nobody else knows about your site or can't find it!

Be sure you mention your website everywhere your company is:  business cards, letterhead, voice mail, etc.
Keep your website updated with compelling content that describes what makes you different.  After all, you want people to keep coming back and telling their friends.
Make your site attractive to search engines such as Google and Yahoo! by making sure key phrases that define what you do are coded into your site's pages and content.
  Watch out for "link farms" and other traps that harm your site's search engine ranking and online image.
