appraisers do their job, VIP is the next logical evolution. Appraisers want
more integration, and more freedom of choice in what products they can use
together. And more vendors want the chance to integrate with WinTOTAL than ever
before.
We currently have an open Sketch API for sketching vendors to quickly and easily
integrate with WinTOTAL, and are working on flood mapping, cost and comps data APIs as well. Appraisers will be able to find and purchase integrated tools in our WinTOTAL Marketplace, built right inside WinTOTAL itself. This is also where they can activate
your software without jumping through hoops.

Who can join VIP?
Any vendor of real estate technology used in the appraisal, mortgage,
agent or inspection industries.
Why would joining VIP be for
me?
By joining VIP, you'll be able to offer your products to tens of thousands of
real estate professionals.
As a vendor of appraisal products, you'll have access to over half the nation's
appraisers, right from inside WinTOTAL. With that kind of direct exposure and
the ability to integrate with WinTOTAL, you'll have entirely new revenue
possibilities that have never before been available.
How does the open sketch API work?
Through a simple web service in the WinTOTAL Marketplace, customers can
purchase and authorize your software to integrate with WinTOTAL. Your
application launches inside WinTOTAL's Sketch PowerView and when the appraiser
is finished, you'll pass the sketch image and related information using XML back
into the appraiser's WinTOTAL report via the API.
Make sure to read the API specifications in the Resources section below. After
signing up, you'll have access to several other resources, including all the API
documentation, XML documentation and code samples. Also, you'll have your own
secure VIP Management site, letting you manage user licenses, marketing pieces
inside WinTOTAL and other important functions. To make that even easier for
you, we've included a web service that allows your own internal CRM systems to
integrate with your secure VIP Management site.
How does the WinTOTAL Marketplace work?
On November 1st
2006, the WinTOTAL Marketplace will be unveiled inside WinTOTAL's Appraisal Desktop.
That's "home base" for appraisers as they work in WinTOTAL daily. In the
Marketplace itself, every vendor will be showcased equally, ensuring your
exposure to tens of thousands of appraisers. Additionally, you'll have your own
section of the Marketplace that you can manage yourself via your VIP Management
site. You'll have links to your site's product and purchase pages, as well as
links to install your product and authorize it for use after purchase. In
addition to your existing marketing efforts, the WinTOTAL Marketplace will be a
powerful way to reach half the nation's appraisers.

Can I integrate my
mobile/field sketching tools?
Not yet. We'll provide a separate API allowing your mobile and field sketching
tools to pass data into the appraiser's WinTOTAL report. As soon as that API is
available, we'll let you know immediately.
